Centsports is Real, Not a Scam, Not Fake
If you're looking to have some fun online and make a few bucks, look no further than Centsports. I'm not getting paid to promote them or anything like that, I just wanted to give them credit for running an honest business. It is tough to gamble on sports online these days; the government has cracked down and a lot of places are stiffing U.S. customers. In my opinion it's really not safe to gamble anymore online as an American citizen (Europe and the rest of the civilized world has no such problem).
Anyway, the way Centsports works is that they start you with ten cents which you can bet with. That money, and your eventual payout, is all funded by advertising. So in effect, you're never gambling with your own dough. You can not deposit your own money. That's why it's legal, and also why it's safe. Once you check them out you will be happy. Oh, and for a while they were letting you cash out to Haiti to help with the relief effort there. Great job Vince.

Never heard of them, but I assure you CentSports is real. It just takes a long time (a couple of months) to get your check.
It took a long time. I want to say over a month, maybe six weeks, and there were some bugs with the CentSports website which made me question if I'd finished in the green or not. I think they've ironed out those bugs now with the 2.0 version. Anyhow, I definitely remember thinking that I wasn't going to get a check, because it did take a lot longer than I expected.

Two months was about the fastest I ever got a check. Sometimes it takes even longer than that, unfortunately.
How long did it take to deduct it from your bankroll. I cashed out about 2 weeks ago and they haven't taken anything out of my bankroll.
Did you get the green message that your payout had been accepted? It takes a while to come out of your bankroll, but as long as you are certain you made the cut - off (which changes a lot at the end of the cashout period) you should be all good.
Ok under the cashout link, my name was in green. Is that the green message you are talking about? Anyways I cashed out and I haven't gotten any email asking for my address. Any idea how long it will take before they send the email? I know payment will take like a couple of months, not sure why it can't be faster. No, that's not the message I'm talking about. Under the cashout link your name might be green, but depending on how things go you may not still be green by the time the deadline hits.
There is a separate green message that will appear on the homepage after you log in, that's the message I'm talking about. It only showed up once my cash out was approved, and it didn't show up right away after the deadline passed.
I should say it's been a long, long time since I used Centsports, so I could be wrong. All I know is back when I used them, it was legit, and I did get two checks from them. You can also check people's records and see when they cashed out, so that might give you a sense of whether or not they are still paying. Good luck.
Centsports i nothing but a scam site with a sorry payout system..any site that takes months and months and months to maybe get a check is terrible..
I had my balance up very high, $300+. In late 2010 I cashed out two times for $80 and once for $150. They deducted the money from my account but I never saw checks...until now, over a year later. I just deposited them. I'm interested (and a little skeptical)to see if they clear. Maybe their "cash flow" issue was real after all...

That stinks...I do know that legit sportsbooks have been having trouble getting checks printed for years, ever since the UIGEA passed (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unlawful_Internet_Gambling_Enforcement_Act_...). It's probably hard for CentSports to find banks that will deal with this, even more so now that there was the recent crack down on poker sites.
was approved for cashout in early Feb. 2011 now its almost August 2011 no response to emails and no money.
wow. i thought mine was bad - i got approved for a cashout in june 2011 and it's mid august now and the money has yet to be taken out from my account. does anyone know if centsports is not paying out anymore? i got a check in may 2010, but havent cashed out this year til this summer. If they aren't paying out anymore, don't want to waste my time betting.
complete scam i have "cashed-out" twice and both times it said "when this message disappears your check has been printed!" Two days later the message was gone and my e-mails were unanswered and my balance remained the same. its been almost 4 months since. Complete scam.
